This fireplace screen is dramatic and organic. A statement piece if there ever was one. Rebar and other bits of metal become what you see here. 

Much of the steel that Americans (including industry) throw away can be recycled, yet only about 70% of it actually ends up recycled. Every three months, the United States as a whole discards enough steel to completely rebuild Manhattan. This bowl comes from mountains of twisted and mangled steel at a local scrap yard in Wisconsin. 

Each bowl is unique and will vary slightly due to the hand made process and materials available.
