Shallow Mixed Component Bowl

This fantastic little bowl (ok, it's not so little...it's almost  foot across!) is upcycled from welded metal scraps and machine shop punches. Shallow, so great for keys on the foyer table, or for whatever else your heart (or clutter) desires. 

Much of the steel that Americans (including industry) throw away can be recycled, yet only about 70% of it actually ends up recycled. Every three months, the United States as a whole discards enough steel to completely rebuild Manhattan. This bowl comes from mountains of twisted and mangled steel at a local scrap yard in Wisconsin. 

Each bowl is unique and will vary slightly due to the hand made process and materials available.
