From soda to vase in a few quick steps!
It's not often that I buy any drinks in a glass bottle, so when I impulsively bought a soda the other day, I knew it was fate. It would be destined to be... something. In this case, I had come across some less-than-lovely jute that would lend itself to a rustic vase!
Tools:
- Scissors
- Glue gun
Supplies
- Glass bottle
- Jute or twine
- No need to use glue until the end! Just place the end of your twine vertically against the bottle and start winding around it at the very top.
- Tightly wind around, occasionally pushing the most recent rows together towards the completed rows.
- At the bottom, use glue to secure the bottom row.
- Fill with flowers- fresh or fake! (For some fun fake flowers, check out our "upcycled flower shop!")
Drooling after the flowers in the picture? You can follow our tutorial or purchase them from our website!
