    Scrap Fabric Boo-Boo Bandages

Posted on July 23, 2012 by Leanna Reece

Die-hard upcyclers will surely have plenty of little pieces of scrap fabric around- with the intent to use them productively. These little piles can soon stack up and get annoying, though.

This is where this upcycling tutorial comes in! It's incredibly easy, quick, and is sure to delight your little ones for those invisible boo-boos. If you have kids that need a bandage for EVERYTHING, these are just what you need!

    Tools:

    • Scissors

    Supplies:

    • Scrap fabric
    • Tacky glue
    • Plain bandages- the cheaper the better
    1. Cut scrap fabric in pieces close to the sizes of the bandages.
    2. Glue fabric onto bandages.
    3. Let dry.
    4. Trim around edges of bandages.

Note: These are no longer sanitary, so save the cartoon characters in wrappers for any real boo-boos.

What did your kiddos think of these upgrades to their typical band-aids? Submit your comments below!
