Product Description
This great little dress by designer Liz Alig is made from overstock yoga fabrics. In what is known as "pre-consumer upcycling" or "post-industrial upcycling," not only is this item totally fab, it also helps address the huge issue of waste generated by clothing production factories. Yup, a lot of perfectly good, brand new fabrics are thrown out before they are ever sewn into clothes.
Features:
- High Neckline
- Gathered Back
- Above Knee Length
- A-Line Fit
Even better, this dress is made at Garrobo, a program in El Salvador that provides jobs skills training to single moms and young women. Women that graduate from this program go on to quality jobs in El Salvador's burgeoning garment industry. How great is that?!?
