As you may know, skateboards get beat to heck, and broken decks (the wooden top part) are all too common. Unless they are rescued for cool items like these benches, where do they usually go? You got it: the landfill.

Featuring a popsicle stick-shaped seat, these benches are incredibly strong. They're held together with skateboard trucks (the metal axle piece that holds the wheels to the deck) and a welded steel frame.

All board pieces are inspected for any damage that may compromise the integrity of the furniture, and components are precision cut . The decks for each bench are carefully selected by hand in order to be complimentary, much like a woodworker would select lumber for a piece of fine furniture. The bench is assembled with zinc-plated steel hardware and finished with a water-based satin clear coat.

Due to the variable nature of upcycled skateboard decks, every deckstool is unique and will feature a one-of-a-kind combination of art, scrapes, colors and graffitti.
