Hewn by hand from reclaimed wood originally used in European buildings around 1880, this hunk of handsome wood is one the most versatile items you can have in your home. Use it as a sturdy trivet to protect your services from hot or cold dishes, or serve your fresh food, cheese, or bread on it. It can even be part of a rustic still life arrangement, providing a bit of heighth to add visual interst. One thing is for sure about this piece: it won't see much of the inside of your cabinets!
Finished by hand with mineral oil and beeswax to ensure a safe, natural surface.
