Product Description

Each of these candle holders is unique, made from reclaimed wood spindles. Attached to one another and drilled to make space for taper candles, receiving one of these items is like a surprise in a box! Some spindles are intricately carved, while others were hewn to be more practical than attractive in the building of an old house. Every one of these items is like a piece of American history, right in your home.

It is estimated that current debris caused by house demolitions amount to 19.7 million tons of landfill waste annually. Much of this waste could easily be recycled or repurposed, but in reality little is actually reclaimed. Just one of the many items that can be saved from old houses are the stairway spindles.

(Candles not included.)
