Flip Flop Area Rug

Fans of flip flops may be surprised to learn how much waste is produced during the manufacturing process. This area rug is made from this scrap material obtained from flip flop factories located in the Philippines. Otherwise destined for landfills, this excess material is cut into smaller pieces that are then wired together to make an awesome place to wipe your shoes- on waste from shoes!

Colors vary widely due to the nature of the source material, but are wired together in an attractive design, as may be seen from the photos.
